Open source allows developers and users to examine the core Aerospike code, propose improvements, begin coding with Aerospike APIs with a minimum of friction, and even put Aerospike in production to gauge its predictable performance and scale. The Aerospike Community Edition is released under AGPL, and new builds of Aerospike Community Edition are made available periodically.
