451 Research: With recent updates and fresh funding, Aerospike looks to launch its NoSQL database into multifunctional territoryAerospike has rolled out several product updates over the past year that have had a direct impact on how its customers are using its database. A few examples include support for strong consistency, Intel Optane DC persistent memory, Apache Spark and Kafka connectors, security updates, developer tools, the ability to store data on SSDs, and support for Intel Ethernet 800 Series with ADQ. The updates are fully integrated into the company’s differentiated hybrid memory architecture, leveraging both RAM and flash as a means to drive low-latency processing and favorable TCO metrics, giving customers the ability to run use cases in verticals such as financial services, telecom, e-commerce and gaming.
