Previously, from March 1998 to July 1998, Roger Sippl was the Chief Technology Officer at Borland International Inc. He serves as a Director at Filtini. He was the Founder Chairman and Director of Visigenic Software Inc. and served as the Chief Executive Officer from February 1993 until March 1998. Roger Sippl was also the Co-Founder and Chairman at The Vantive Corporation. He served as the Chairman from December 1996 to 1998. Earlier, Roger Sippl was also the Founder and Chairman at Informix Corp. in 1980 and served as the President. He served as the Chairman from 1989 to 1993. He was also the Chief Executive Officer at Informix Corp. from 1980 to 1989. He was an early individual investor in Illustra Information Technologies and Red Pepper Software. Roger Sippl founded Above All Software, Inc. where he served as the Chief Executive Officer. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Allocade, Inc. He serves on the Boards of HAHT Commerce since April 2000; Interwoven, Inc.; Support.com; Demand Reports ; Filtini; Sensitini; Fountain Valley School of Colorado Springs; Informix; Vantive; and WaveMaker Software, Inc. and attends board meetings of other portfolio companies. He has been a Director of SolarWinds, Inc. since March 23, 2010. He also serves as a Director of Sensitini. Roger Sippl served as a Director at SupportSoft. He has also been the Chairman of the Stanford Cancer Council. Roger Sippl was the representative of the software industry on the X/OPEN board of directors, and was a founding board member of /usr/group and the Uniform Unix trade association in the 1980’s. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and studied Biochemistry, Immunology and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
